I remember I had this mp3 (china-made) which became my life back when I was in solitude -- at peace with myself. This was, I think, around year 2006. Often times, what I do is just study to university and travel back home. Out of this routine, I found solace however in getting inside the bus, preferably seating near the glass window, seeing life happening outside.
I had no one but myself. However, I had music as my companion. These were the days I've come to know my exact preference in music. It's literally like being in heaven when you hear great rhythms vibrating your ears. At that time, I couldn't care of anything.
I could say I discover my own music. I'd spend hours and hours just looking for new undiscovered artists, unexplored songs and genres. Before my mp3 files were reformatted, I'd often listen to Keane, Mraz, Coldplay, Jack Johnson, and of course Regina Spektor.
But there's this one artist from Faroe Islands that fascinated me. His name is Teitur Lassen.
There certainly are just moments when you think back of your musical memories & never miss to be nostalgic.. -- this is one of them.
